ITIL® Intermediate Service Design Certification Training and Exam in Columbus, OH

As with any of the Intermediate modules, it is suggested that participants have exposure to basic IT concepts and at least two years of professional working experience in IT Service Management.

  • As part of a formal training certification course, the contact hours requirement is at least 21 hours, including hours of instruction, excluding breaks, with an Accredited Training Organization (ATO) or an accredited e-learning solution.
  • A fundamental IT literacy and around 2 years of IT experience.
  • Certified ITIL Foundation professional in IT Service Management.
  • ITIL Expert Certificate in IT Service Management obtained through Service Manager or Practitioner bridging routes.
  • Exhibit familiarity with IT terminology and understand the context of availability, capacity, security, supplier, service level management and other related processes. 
  • Have essential experience of working in IT service management within a service provider environment.

  • Under the Credit System, you must earn several credits from each ITIL qualification to move to the next level within the ITIL course.
  • The SD module is worth 3-credits towards the minimum of 17 needed to move to the Managing Across the Lifecycle module, the final step before the ITIL Expert Level.

Question types are MCQs with 8 questions per paper. Out of 40 questions, 28 marks are required to mass, i.e., the passing percentage is 70%. The exam duration is 90 minutes and is a closed book type test.
